DEPENDENCE AND WITHDRAWAL

Do not stop taking this medication without first talking to your provider. Soma can be habit-forming; take only as prescribed to lower risks of dependence and overdose.

SEIZURES

It's rare, but some people have experienced seizures after taking Soma. Most of these people either took too much this medication (an overdose) or were taking their regular dose of Soma at the same time as alcohol or other habit-forming drugs, such as narcotic pain relievers, benzodiazepines, or sleep aids. Avoid alcohol until you are no longer taking Soma.
